Machines that are good for mental health less bad for you than phones

Phones are like Swiss army knives. They can do a lot of stuff, but they're not particularly good at any of it.

(well, that might've been true 20 years ago. Imagine a Swiss army knife that complains when you're not using the corkscrew enough)

Here's some machines that do parts of what a phone does, but does those things way better than a phone:

• Cool vintage E-Reader with lovely metal buttons
• Literally any cheap non-smart watch
• Fun handheld retro emulation boxes with proper joysticks and buttons
